Did you know we just got back from a mythical land called Florida? There are tall trees, lots of water {WAY more than in my bathtub}, and not many people my age. My dad calls it "God's waiting room," but I don't know what that means.
We were all VERY ready for a vacation, especially Dad and me. {day care is so tiring.} This is us at the airport, waiting to board the plane. Good thing Mom was still awake, otherwise we would have slept through vacation!
The flight was fun because mom and dad let me tear up the in-flight magazine.
When we got to Florida, I saw my cousins, Mia and Will. They really like me and I like them.
And then we got our swimsuits on and went to the beach.
And then I took a nap.
And another nap.
And then we went in the pool, which I liked better than the beach.
And we celebrated my Grandma's birthday -- she turned 17 or 72 or 33 or 64. {It's all the same to a five month old.} My mom says she's really foxy and doesn't look a day over 43.
And then my family played a lot of some weird game called "Settlers." NERDS!
And then Aunt Bridget did some hand-stands on the beach.
And a headstand.
And then my Uncle Joe made some dish that everyone raved about. They called it pie-ay-ya. All I know is that my milk tasted like a sweet combination of saffron, clams, and chorizo. YUM!
And then I started sitting up on my own.
Oh! And my grandma snuggled with me a lot. She's really nice. And pretty. And smells good. We even dressed alike in stripes one day. I think she should come visit me more often.
Oh! And my grandpa really likes me too. He's not as soft as grandma, but he has a great laugh. And he didn't get mad at me when I pooped on him. We ate pancakes together on the beach and he let me taste maple syrup. Maple syrup really kicks rice cereal's behind.
Oh! One more thing! Did you know I'm going to have a new cousin in August? We're going to be best friends. But for now, s/he's in Aunt Jennie's tummy.
Well, friends, that's about all I have to say about my vacation. I gotta go eat some rice cereal ... and my toes. Bye!
