Happy Easter!

Everything's better with Adelaide. It just is.

Including Easter.

We had a wonderful day that started with the Easter service at All Souls. After the service, we headed up to the Baltimore area for the ...

First Annual East Coast Melloy Family Easter!
{a.k.a. FAECMFE}
{Colleen and David, I hope you don't mind that whole "annual" thing.}

We were especially excited to see my cousin, Meghan, who drove up from North Carolina with her new husband, Jim. We found out that they met over New Glarus Spotted Cow beer. Seriously, my family rocks.

As usual, Colleen and David had an amazing spread that was topped only by the warmth of their hosting.

Cheesecake!

Their generosity even extended to giving Adelaide her first cigar:

The highlight of FAECMFE was when Colleen and David pulled out old family videos. As a public service announcement to warn of the dangers of permed hair and high-waisted jeans, he featured a 1993 video of Jennie and me. We sang "Reading Rainbow" and performed our version of "Coffee Talk." {"It's like a hot knife cutting through warm buttah."} Mortified would be an understatement.

A couple more highlights:

HAPPY EASTER!

  1. Ha! I just wish I could get my hands on that video (though I'm sure my parents have something, somewhere, that would top it).
