We're Back!

We are back from two wonderful, jam-packed weeks in Iowa where we had a great time with our family, engaged in much boisterous laughter, ate good food, partook in lots of Adelaide adoration, took in much gorgeous singing and played MANY games of settlers {nerd alert!}.

Lil' G was a rock-star traveler, making barely a peep on both plane rides from and to DC.

Unfortunately, we came home to a Washington, DC, that was much colder than Iowa. To make matters worse, half of our apartment heating unit wasn't working, so Adelaide and I spent the night sleeping in the living room where the heat was working. Adelaide awoke to a cold the next day. Boo. Maybe we should have stayed in Iowa. {Our mothers wouldn't have minded!}
