On Sunday morning, while Bryan and I were huddled over Adelaide, reciting our mantra {"she's so cute," she's really cute," "she's so darn cute"}, she rolled over! It wasn't exactly graceful or coordinated -- she flung her legs to one side, twisted, twisted, twisted, tipped, teetered, until her torso begrudgingly decided to follow her legs. We then shrieked like 13-year-old girls at a Justin Bieber concert. {I really hope none of our neighbors were nursing a Sunday morning hangover.} She then gave us this look like, "now what do I do?"
It was just one little baby roll, but it seems like the beginning of a lifetime of movements - sitting up, crawling, walking, riding a bike, learning to drive, going off to college, getting married... hyperventilating... hyperventilating...
It was her first little roll towards baby independence.
